The New Zealand Climate Change Research Institute's mission is to carry out excellent policy-facing climate research. We aim to:

Undertake internationally significant climate change research that can inform policy debates in New Zealand and elsewhere.

Contribute significantly and constructively to public debates about climate change. Develop and deliver high quality, interdisciplinary taught courses to students and practitioners.

In this work we seek to collaborate with organisations and institutions at home and abroad.
